Premier FMCG is a leading player in the FMCG industry, committed to delivering high-quality products to consumers across the region. We're on the lookout for a dynamic and result-oriented **Secondary Planner**.

A career opportunity has arisen in the **Milling Corporate Department - Premier CDC Lords View - Midrand. **This position is responsible to ensure optimal and efficient planning by delivering to the customers in time and minimizing failed deliveries. Keeping time windows and turnaround times updated to continually deliver within the customer’s time framework.

**Qualification Requirements**:
Grade 12 - Essential

Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field. Desirable

**Experience Requirements**:

- Fleet and distribution planning roles within the FMCG industry. 3 - 5 years Essential
- Proven track record of successfully utilizing and planning of distribution fleet. 3 - 5 years Essential
- Exposure to continuous improvement initiatives and driving operational excellence in the FMCG market. 3 - 5 years Essential
- Knowledge of transportation management systems and distribution network optimisation. Essential
- Understanding of distribution logistics, including load planning, fleet management, and delivery scheduling. Essential
- Knowledge of Nominated Delivery Day (NDD) requirements and industry best practices in secondary distribution.

**Key Outputs**:

- Strategically plan loads on the secondary fleet to maximize efficiency, reduce transportation costs, and minimize environmental impact.
- Optimise the utilisation of the secondary fleet by consolidating loads and drive continuous improvement on a daily basis.
- Ensure on-time delivery of orders as per Nominated Delivery Day (NDD) schedule, exceeding customer expectations and enhancing brand reputation.
- Foster effective collaboration with Sales, Fleet and Distribution teams to streamline operations, resolve issues promptly, and improve overall productivity.
- Complete daily and monthly reports accurately to provide data-driven insights, identify optimisation opportunities, and support informed decision-making.
- Regularly review fleet capacity and internal and external customer requirements to adapt distribution plans, scale operations efficiently, and respond to market dynamics.
