**Descriptions**:
Liaise on a daily basis with colleagues, line manager, the secretarial department of the company
Limited, etc in order to ensure complete and accurate accounting of all transactions
Cash flow monitoring, creditors payments and bank reconciliations
Maintain outstanding debtor records and follow-up on payments
Maintain the fixed asset register
Completing and submitting regulatory returns for, e.g. Income tax, VAT payable, etc
Assist with the preparation of annual and interim financial statements in terms of International Financial Reporting Standards (“IFRS”).
Liaise with external auditors to obtain sign-off on work performed.
Assist with the annual budget preparation.
Assist with the preparation of monthly/quarterly management accounts and variance reports for the company and its cost centres.
Establish work process flows and internal controls.
Assist the Group Finance management team with various adhoc projects that occur from time to time.

**Qualifications**:
A minimum of three years’ relevant experience in an accounting administration role. Knowledge of VAT, general tax compliance and eFiling.
Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively in a team orientated environment.
Articulate with excellent communication skills in Afrikaans and English (both verbally & written).
Accurate, detail orientated and organised.
Strong decision making and planning skills.
Ability to function under pressure to meet deadlines while maintaining accuracy.
Motivated and pro-active in order to grow the job beyond its current specifications.
Computer literate - excellent knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook is essential. The job holder must be willing to master the use of new accounting and reporting software products.
Displays a positive attitude, willingness to aid and excellence in execution of duties.
