Purpose of Position:

To supervise and coordinate the work processes, systems and employees within Pre lab.
Requirements:

Certificate: Supervision, Grade 12 (required), HPCSA Registration in Relevant Register and Practice Field (required)

Required Experience:
1-2 years supervisor experience, 3-5 years Prelab experience, Knowledge: Basic Conditions of Employment Act (BCEA), Knowledge: Google and Google Mail, Knowledge: HPCSA regulations, Knowledge: Meditech system, Knowledge: MS Excel, Knowledge: MS Word, Knowledge: Occupational Health and Safety Act (OSHA), Knowledge of Ampath Safety, Health and Environment management policy
Key Responsibilities:

Assist with the management of the Prelab employees to ensure that departmental objectives are achieved., Handle problems and queries to ensure the effective functioning of systems, instruments and processes., Maintain good client relations to promote the image of Ampath., Oversee and maintain the accreditation system to ensure QC standards are upheld., Supervise work processes and systems in order to ensure the effective functioning of the department and efficient service delivery., Train employees in order to ensure that effective competency levels are maintained.
