**Our client**

A company specialising in the Manufacturing, Marketing, Sales, and Support for and to the Non-Destructive Testing Industry.

**Primary Responsibilities**:

- Under the direction of the Logistics Manager, responsible for ensuring that all dispatch functions are managed appropriately.
- To supervise the entire Dispatch function, i.e., Admin, Controllers, Drivers, Inventory, Packing.
- To ensure that all items in the dispatch store are stored and packed correctly, up to date and in accordance with set standards ready for dispatch to customers.
- Oversee the safe receipt, storage, retrieval, and timely dispatch of items to customers.
- Liaise with Sales daily for urgent deliveries
- Expedite equipment and orders through the process to ensure on time delivery
- To take responsibility for security in the dispatch store and of the stock and equipment.
- To oversee and ensure that daily delivery routes are planned and allocated to drivers.
- Ensuring that delivery vehicles are maintained to optimum levels through existing daily checks.
- Ensure that all licenses, authorizations, certifications etc. are in place, valid and up to date.
- Actively assist in writing, implementing, monitoring, and improving department related work instructions.
- Training and development of Dispatch Staff.**Requirements**:

- Capable of supervising and directing staff
- Team Player
- Grade 12 essential
- 4 years’ experience in a similar environment
- Appropriate Qualification relevant to a Dispatch Supervisor
- Management / Supervisory qualification
- Have excellent product knowledge
- Computer Literate and knowledge of SAP
- Unendorsed driver’s license.
- Capable of working under pressure and to deadlines.
