Software Testing Manager - Gauteng - Johannesburg (Hybrid)

Our client is looking for a
**Software Test Manager** who has experience working with automated testing tools in a Financial Services environment to provide mentoring and guidance on the implementation and execution of test methodology and strategy for the Test team and support the overall organization with carrying out all levels of software testing (planning, analysis, design and execution) as part of the full SDLC (Software Development Life Cycle) in order to deliver high quality solutions on projects.

**Requirements**:

- A minimum of 3 - 5 years’ experience in testing.
- Relevant experience in testing with automated testing tools.
- An appropriate Testing tertiary qualification will be a strong recommendation.
- Knowledge of Test automation principles and practices.
- JIRA.
- XRAY for JIRA.
- Postman.
- Swagger.
- SQL Server Management Studio (or similar database management tools).

**Responsibilities**:

- Definition, implementation and improvement of the test and defect management processes.
- Manage small testing team.
- Work closely with Scrum teams as part of an Agile development process.
- Identify, define and design New Functionality test requirements.
- Implement and maintain test suites, plans, and cases
- Perform test scheduling in accordance with designated tester.
- Perform test execution within all test cycles (Systems Testing - Business Readiness Testing).
- Assist with the test script execution and validations. (Automated regression tests).
- Perform test documentation and Test analysis.
- Perform defect logging and reporting.
- Assist with new functionality and Regression testing.
- Test reporting based upon coverage and clearance statistics.
- Risk identification and reporting.
- Liaison with development team and business analysts.
- Produce Test related Documentation (Test Plans, Test Matrices, Defect.
- Logs, Progress reports) in conjunction with the test manager.
- Perform scope and test effort estimations.
- Ability to analyze risks, develop contingencies, and plan testing accordingly.
- Liaise with technical as well as middle, and senior management.
- Mentoring of less experienced Testers.
