- Areas of Responsibility- Business analysis and process redesign of SAP functions and processes
- Configure SAP functionality to satisfy business requirements and business process design
- Prepare business specifications for:

- Component Level design
- Technical Systems Specifications / Configuration Rationale Documentation
- Data Design
- Component Test Cases
- Unit Test Case Design
- Configure of the component design
- Advise configuration staff on the evaluation and impact analysis of major design options
- Advise, maintain and implement the business system development standards, methods and procedures
- Assist in the assessment and selection of suitable software packages to meet all or parts of specified requirements
- Take a leading technical Role in development projects.

Profile of the SAP Functional Consultant (Junior)- Result Orientated
- Good written and oral communication
- Facilitation, negotiation and conflict resolution skills
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills
- Ability to function effectively within a matrix structure
- Demonstrates the ability to plan, prioritise, co-ordinate and manage multiple initiatives
- Being a Team Player - approachable, ability to share and consult with others
- Strong technical skills in programming / development language
- The ability to adapt to the requirements of the project, the needs of the sponsors, its environments and people working on it to ensure a successful outcome.
- Qualifications and Experience:
- NQF Level 5: Certified in at least one of the following: 3-year National Diploma/B-Degree in Information Technology
- Banking Services and CRM Certification and ASAP Methodology an advantage or
- 1-3 years’ experience in developing and supporting a Core Banking System
- Understanding of the ITIL process. (Certification an advantage)
- Understanding of the ASAP Methodology
