**Requirements**:
Grade 12
Minimum of 3+ years sales experience in advertising/media, ideally radio
Excellent communication skills
Experienced in cold calling to direct clients - not ad agencies
Negotiation skills
Sales ability and persuasion
Strong problem solving ability and negotiation skills
Excellent presentation skills
Excellent computer literacy in MS Office (MS Word, MS PowerPoint, MS Excel, MS Outlook, CRM software)
Possession of a valid driver’s licence, own vehicle, cell phone & Internet Access

**Duties**:
Generate sales via cold calling and meeting with clients
Manage and service a portfolio of direct advertising clients to ensure targets are achieved
Grow sales by pitching clients in an effort to meet targets
Manage a portfolio of advertising clients to ensure targets are achieved
Prepare and present sales proposals and presentations to new and existing clients to negotiate and close deals
Create tailored solutions that meet the client’s short and long term needs
Identify and generate new business opportunities on an ongoing basis to achieve sales targets
Cold calling has to be part of your strategy
Build working relationships with clients and maintain a high level of client interaction to ensure that their specific requirements are addressed in order to grow and monitor business
Report on sales activities and achievement as required (weekly and monthly)
Provide professional and exceptional client service in all interactions with clients
Maintain a high level of relevant industry knowledge
Keep abreast of all administrative and sales support duties
