Contracts Manager

POSITION INFO:
Key Responsibilities:
- Contract Administration: Effectively handle all aspects of contract administration to ensure compliance and adherence to project requirements.
- Project Schedule Management: Plan, organize, and maintain project schedules for efficient production, ensuring timely project completion.
- Subcontractor Management: Oversee and manage subcontractors to ensure their alignment with project goals and timelines.
- Risk Management: Implement strategies to identify and mitigate potential risks throughout the project lifecycle.
- Budget Oversight: Monitor and manage project budgets to ensure financial objectives are met.
- Dispute Resolution: Handle any contractual disputes promptly and efficiently, fostering positive client relationships.
- Performance Monitoring: Monitor and evaluate project performance, making adjustments as necessary to achieve optimal results.
Qualifications:
- Diploma or bachelor’s degree or higher in Architecture, Engineering, Building Science or Built Environment degree
- Certificate: Project Management certificate recognized by the SACPCMP.
- Experience: Proven working experience as a Contract Manager 10 years with a track record of successful project delivery.
- Knowledge: In-depth understanding of construction contracts, regulations, and industry best practices.
- Skills: Strong negotiation and communication skills, with the ability to analyze complex contractual issues and provide practical solutions.
- Software Proficiency: Candy & BuildSmart, as well as proficiency in Microsoft Office and Projects
