**Somerset West**: An esteemed 5-Star Hotel situated in the Helderberg area of the Western Cape, is seeking to employ a Human Resources Administrator with a good track record of working in the hospitality industry, to join their team.
**Responsibilities** include, but are not limited to the following:
- Assist the Finance Department with Payroll and facilitating the employment equity process
- Compiling and Management of HR documents to ensure Labour Law compliance
- Manage the Employment Equity process and compliance thereof
- Coordinating training sessions and events
- Maintaining employee morale and standards
- Recruitment
- Staff Welfare initiatives
- Management of employee and related files
- Maintaining internal records, which may include preparing, issuing, and filing company documentation (e.g. sick leave, maternity leave, annual leave etc.).
- Working with institutes regarding interns and trainee intakes
- Be active in succession planning, training and development of employees
**HR Administrative Requirements**:
- Proven experience in a HR role in the Hospitality Industry
- Excellent telephone, verbal, and written communication skills
- Sound knowledge of Labour Laws and practices
- Experience on Payroll systems
- The ability to keep sensitive information confidential
- Must be approachable, engaging and helpful
- Be approachable, fair and have good multitasking abilities
- Strong critical thinking skills
- Strong administration skills
- Proficient in the English language
