**What will you do in this role?**
The Lead Cinematographer is responsible for creating and developing the creative approach to each project, as well as managing the film team and the quality of the lesson's being captured.
**Key Task & Responsibilities**
**Leadership**
- Lead, guide and mentor Videographers through the production process on assigned courses.
- Display clarity of mission and expectations on projects.
- Motivation and inspiration for video concepts, visual treatments, and video lessons.
- Give creative and technical guidance on video and audio capturing on-set.
- Promote a culture of innovation and teamwork.
**Creativity and world-class work**
- Work with other Lobster Ink specialists to develop capture and deliver learning concepts, specifically around audio and video production.
- Produce high-quality video content in line with a projects' technical requirements and creative
- Create the visual treatment, implement and onboard all relevant parties.
- Uphold Lobster Inks and industry best practice standards.
**Output Creation and Management**
- Constructively, direct film crew and elements needed to stay within the visual treatment.
- Lead the film dept from shotlisting to video delivery, including shotlist updates, and ensure that all work produced follows the intentional look and feel, ensure checks are constantly being done and adhere to Lobster Ink's standards.
- The effective on-boarding and leading of videographers and freelancers, to understand Lobster Ink workflows and to consistently produce work that is of world-class standard.

- Detailed knowledge of creating emotionally engaging moments, using film

**Minimum experience required**:
- Minimum five to eight years' experience in film production.
- Minimum of two years' experience managing a team of five or more individuals.
- Extensive experience in working with multiple projects, at scale, is essential.
- Experience in producing localized content is essential.
- Previous experience working in an e-learning environment is beneficial.
- Significant expertise in all technical aspects of the film dept.
- A valid passport
- Able to travel extensively
**Minimum qualifications/education**
- Relevant degree or diploma in film or video content production is required
- An individual portfolio or showreel of work captured
