As a Curtains Seamstress, you will play a crucial role in creating high-quality curtains and window treatments. Your primary responsibilities include measuring, cutting, and sewing fabric to craft custom curtains that meet clients' specifications. Attention to detail and precision in sewing are essential to ensure the finished products are of superior quality.

**Responsibilities**:
1. Measure windows accurately to determine fabric requirements for each curtain project.

2. Select appropriate fabrics and trims based on client preferences and design specifications.

3. Cut fabric according to measurements, ensuring proper alignment and pattern matching.

4. Sew curtains using various stitching techniques such as straight stitch, blind hem, and pleating as needed.

5. Install hardware such as grommets, hooks, or rods to complete the curtain assembly.

6. Inspect finished curtains for quality standards, including seams, hems, and overall appearance.

7. Collaborate with designers and clients to understand their vision and provide creative input.

8. Maintain a clean and organized work area, including sewing machines and tools.

9. Stay updated on current trends and techniques in curtain design and fabrication.

10. Uphold deadlines and manage multiple projects simultaneously while delivering exceptional results.

Qualifications:
1. Proven experience as a seamstress specializing in curtain-making or drapery fabrication.

2. Proficiency in sewing techniques and using industrial sewing machines.

3. Knowledge of different types of fabrics, linings, and trims commonly used in curtain design.

4. Ability to interpret design plans, measurements, and technical drawings accurately.

5. Attention to detail and precision in all sewing and finishing processes.

6. Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with clients and design professionals.

7. Time management skills to prioritize tasks and meet project deadlines.

8. Creativity and a keen eye for aesthetics to contribute to the design process.

9. Physical stamina and dexterity for handling fabric rolls and operating sewing equipment.

10. Certification or training in fashion design, têxtiles, or a related field is a plus.
