**A well-established Fresh produce client in the East Rand is seeking a Fruit Packline Controller. Must have knowledge of fresh fruit produce and be fluent in Afrikaans and English. A background in Machine operated packline will be an advantage.**

**Minimum requirements**:

- **Matric.**

- **Tertiary qualification will be beneficial.**

- **Computer literate.**
***:

- **Minimum 2-years’ experience with machine-operated pack line.**
***:

- **Experience and knowledge of Citrus packing will be beneficial.**
***:

- **Analytical reporting and working with numerical data.**
***:

- **Basic technical knowledge.**
***:

- **Ability to lead a team.**
***:

- **Be able to work under pressure and meet deadlines.**
***

**Duties and responsibilities**:
***
- **Operate the Remoon line according to instructions and pack plan.**
***:

- **Ensure the machine is always correctly set up.**
***:

- **Responsible for production planning of the pack line.**
***:

- **Set daily targets.**
***:

- **Monitor and ensure the team is working productively.**
***:

- **Ensure stock allocation and workstation preparation are done daily.**
***:

- **Troubleshoot issues and perform regular maintenance.**
***:

- **Clean machinery daily and maintain the cleanliness of the work area and the entire line.**
***:

- **Ensure staff is trained and disciplined and performance managed according to company standards.**
***:

- **Plan and schedule staff to ensure the line has enough labour to be productive and meet targets.**
***:

- **Identify productivity issues and ensure corrective action is taken.**
***:

- **Manage overpack to ensure that product is packed according to specification and no extra kgs are packed.**
***:

- **Monitor quality control and report quality issues to management.**
***:

- **Manage and monitor waste.**
***:

- **Ensure all required paperwork is done accurately and on time.**
***:

- **Configure and optimize the machine’s capability.**
***:

- **Comply with all Health & Safety regulations.**
***
