**PURPOSE OF THE JOB**

Design and deploy Quality Control Plan per manufacturing process to support an external demerit at 0 for Alstom Customer and the Zero Defect Program

**MAIN RESPONSABILITIES**

**Accountability & Authorities**
- Manage Industrial Quality activities in relevant workshop (IQ team + process + KPI).
- Stop the production in case of a defect which justifies mandatory rework.
- Participate or delegate customer joint Inspections.
- Participate to process FMEA definition.
- Build, implement & regularly update Quality Control Plans with Return of Experience (REX) of previous project execution.
- Ensure customer approval, documents validation & compliance of the manufactured products before shipping.
- Perform Line Quality Animation with cross function team.
- Perform, participate to inspections of products (Customer joint inspections included if applicable).
- Manage problem solving.
- Records inspection results in the industrial tools as required & performed follow-up.
- Perform first characterization & manage Non Conformance Report’s for non-compliant products for internal responsibility.
- Have ability to accepts or reject products as defined in the working instructions / Expert support.
- Support manufacturing teams regarding the self-inspection, delegation of control (Training, audit,) & Position Quality Animation with EPU manager.
- Quality Control Plan deployment and maintenance
- Weekly and monthly Industrial Quality KPI reporting
- Quality process improvements
- Conducting workstation audits

**Performance measurements**
- Defects per Unit reduction (aligned to Performance Management Cycle objectives) and External demerit objective.
- Cost of Non Quality (QONC) objective (for CONQ S1.1 & S1.3).
- APSYS score for Industrial scope.
- Car History Book accuracy
- Quality management System

**MAIN REQUIRED COMPETENCES**

**Educational Requirements / Experience**

**Mandatory**:

- Diploma in engineering - Metallurgical or Mechanical)
- SAIW WI/VT L2
- Magnetic Testing /Penetrant Testing L2

**Desirable**:

- Ultrasonic Testing L2

**Mandatory**:

- Process knowledge on Quality and at industrial level.
- 8-10 Years experience within the engineering sector
- SAP/GSI
- Proven track record of audits

**Desirable**:

- Lean Six Sigma
- Rail Experience

**Competencies & Skills**
- International mindset & fluent in English.
- Ability to work in a matrix organization.
- Able to work under pressure.
- Work shifts to support operational requirements
- Excellent MS office skills (Excel, Teams, Word, PowerPoint and Office)
- Local and international travel if and when required
