_**This position will be based **_at_ **Kinross Siyakhulisa Trading **_Enterprise, 13_ **Kromdraai **_Farm,_ **Kinross, Mpumalanga.**_

**FULL JOB DESCRIPTION**:
A leading transport, distribution, and logistics company in the Kinross area is looking to appoint a driver trainer for New Generation Long Distance Trucks. The main duty of this driver trainer role is to conduct in-cab training, on-road training, and driver assessments in line with company requirements in order to ensure that all professional drivers employed by the organization meet performance standards and requirements. A very important requirement is that the person must **have working knowledge** or **experience of **tautliners**, **side-tippers, **and **fueltankertrucks.

**RESPONSIBILITIES KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES**:

- Assist with the preparation and scheduling of training interventions.
- Manage driver training programmes (in-cab and on-road training) for new and existingprofessional drivers.
- Conduct relevant assessments on professional drivers, which include in-cab assessments,benchmark assessments against company requirements/policies (short routes and longdistance).
- Develop and prepare contract specific appendices (including safe working procedures andplanned job observations).
- Report on all training interventions and submit documentation (incl. attendance registers,and driver assessment documentation) on a weekly basis. Ensure that vehicle is utilised optimally and to address fuel consumption queries, driving techniques and other related queries.**QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS**:

- Matric or equivalent.
- Accredited Relevant Training - Assessor & Moderator certificate and registration with TETAwould be advantageous.
- Minimum of 5 years’ previous truck driving experience (New Generation Vehicles).
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in training and coaching long distance drivers.
- In-depth knowledge of the operating and legislation requirements of the transport andlogistics industry.
- Excellent communication skills in English (speaking, reading and writing).
- Communication skills in African languages will be advantageous.
- Knowledge of TETA accredited training requirements would be an advantage.
- Code EC (14) driver’s licence with no endorsements.
