**SENIOR LECTURER IN THE ALLAN GRAY CENTRE FOR LEADERSHIP ETHICS (AGCLE) AT RHODES UNIVERSITY**

Rhodes University Rhodes University wishes to appoint a qualified person to join the vibrant Allan Gray Centre for Leadership Ethics team in the Department of Philosophy.

**Requirements**:
**Senior Lecturer**
A PhD in Philosophy or in Cognate disciplines with expertise in teaching and researching one or more of the following fields (expertise in cognate fields will be considered): feminism, theories of race, African philosophy, philosophical psychology, social psychology, social epistemology, behavioural economics, and existential phenomenology.

Cost to Company Approximately (annual): R 899,440.00

Basic Salary (Annual): R 631,639.00

Rhodes University has a vaccination mandate as part of its Conditions of Service. The implementation of the vaccine mandate has been held in abeyance from 01 January 2023. Should the COVID-19 situation change in a way that the number of cases of COVID-19 pose a threat to the University, the implementation of the Vaccine Mandate will be re-activated and all staff would be required to be fully vaccinated.
