**Operations Manager - Logistics, distrubution and production experience**

A commercial degree or equivalent with at least 5 - 10 years of experience fulfilling an operations role at a senior management level within the retail sector.

Manage day-to-day company operations. Responsible for effectively and efficiently managing the Warehouse & Logistics, Human Capital, Customer Service, Marketing ops, Budgets, Retail Sales & Service Management.

Enhance the operational procedures, IT systems and principles in the areas of information flow and management, business processes, enhanced management reporting and looking for new initiatives to enhance systems.

**RESPONSIBILITY**
- Business Model Execution and Accountable
- Agree on KPI’s for the year and periodic Manco / Exco assessments
- Identification of operational efficiency requirements across the operating departments and providing recommendations for improvements
- Ensure all company profiles, strategic documentation, guidelines as required in the business is set up and aligned
- Coach and develop the management team to drive their KPI’s
- Conduct monthly management KPI’s
- Continuous identification and development of policies and procedure to improve the business
- Ensuring compliance and governance operational structures are set up across the business.
- Prepare management reports for Exco and Manco
- Develop and implement HR related policies and procedures
- Recruitment and selection aligned to company strategies and business goals
- Develop and implement cost management initiatives
- Ensuring the warehouse runs optimally and efficiently as per the departmental JD’s, KPI’s and targets set
- Ensure the warehouse manager is managing the flow of goods from the source of supply to customers through efficient movement and to ensure that everything is in place to offer better delivery and service at lower costs by way of efficient logistics that adds value.
- Review weekly leader board of stores and individuals with the Regional’s and understand why stores are under performing and how to replicate high performing stores
- Ensure Regionals conduct monthly store KPI’s, are hands-on with their stores to achieve targets and Return on Investment (ROI) is favourable
- Intervene with the CEO on underperforming stores
- Perform Quality check store visits on a periodic basis
- Marketing Operations Management
- Ensure that the Marketing team achieve online targets and deliverables set
- Ensure the marketing ROI is interrogated monthly and that spend vs conversion is favourable
- Monthly checking with suppliers providing lead and creative support and identify if the campaigns, creative positioning and monies spent is aligned
- Ensure website working optimally and the online experience is seamless
- Ensure data and analytics is driving decision making
- Measure brand success and reputation building with month on month social and community engagements metrics
- Measure lead spend vs ROI and monthly view online sales
- Lead source and sale interrogation and success

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Johannesburg, Gauteng: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)
