Logistics and Distribution Outbound Controller

**Well established crop producer (Local and Export) has a vacancy for an Outbound Logistics and Distribution Controller. The role will include, the efficient control of the Outbound logistics function, which includes product movement, operations, maintenance, human resources, budget and cost control and reporting within the logistics department. To ensure the correct information is collected to submit, verify and action in a manner that upholds the integrity and standards of the Organization. Based on Farm in Johannesburg region.**

**Requirements**:

- Logistics/Relevant Tertiary qualification
- Min 2 years' experience in Fleet management
- Min 2 years' experience in Outbound Logistics Coordinator function
- Minimum 2 years' experience in FMCG/Agricultural industries
- Own transport
- MS Office

**Duties**:

- Support in the efficient capturing of documentation and ensure it is completed in a timeous manner on a daily basis.
- Ensure that the most cost effective and practical routes are utilized, long distance.
- Ensure that the accurate records of all movements are kept in order to determine scheduling for upcoming loads and the preparation of the appropriate trip documentation by way of job cards, invoices and delivery notes.
- Ensure that the flow process of orders to delivery are completed on time and is of a pre-determined standard of excellence.
- Flag instances when standards are not met in order to allow for a smooth transition of stock going in and out of the logistics department.
- To upkeep a proficient understanding of systems utilized in the department as well as basic Microsoft programs.
- Ensuring that accurate reporting is submitted on a pre-determined basis as per instructions from your manager.
