TELEPHONE NURSE (RETIRED REGISTERED NURSE or MATRON) | BRYANSTON | JHB

A Skilled Retired Nurse/Matron sought to work as a Telephone Nurse at Medical Centre in Bryanston, Johannesburg.

As a Telephone Nurse, you will provide a variety of services and information to patients over the phone. You will telephonically assist patients with enquiries and provide them with medical advice and guide them appropriately. If needed, you will determine the urgency of care needed and will be responsible to schedule appointments and directing callers to health care providers as needed.

Most of your communication will take place via WhatsApp: Messages, Voice calls and social media.

**Requirements**:

- This role requires an experienced, retired nurse/matron with good clinical know-how and medical knowledge.
- Excellent Telephone Etiquette and communication skills are essential for this role. You must be able to communicate fluently in English.
- You must be patient, caring, and empathetic, yet assertive if needed.
- Computer Literate
- Excellent Track Record Essential
- Good all-round medical knowledge
- Must be organised and motivated
- Need the ability to communicate with Medical Professionals and Doctors
- Efficient and effective service delivery

This is a crucial role for the medical centre and as a representative of the centre, you must uphold the highest standards possible to ensure efficient service delivery to patients.

Salary will be linked to experience and skill.

You will be expected to work some weekend hours.
