Semi Skilled Lathe Turner

**PURPOSE OF THE FUNCTION**

Machining tool that is used primarily for shaping metal or wood.by rotating the workpiece around a stationary cutting tool to remove unwanted parts of the material, leaving behind a nicely shaped workpiece.

Responsible for manufacturing of metal components needed in the manufacturing of valves or for the repair thereof. Measure each large and small component to ensure they will fit together properly in the final design. Identify potential problems by understanding machine specifications and drawings before the production process.

**QUALIFICATIONS**
- Lathe Operator
- Grade +10
- Trade

**SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE**
- Working experience on different types of Lathes.
