PURPOSE OF POSITION: To manage the team who is responsible for the daily reconciliation between sales on a store level and the various BFS bank accounts.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Supervision - Review bank reconciliations
- Financial administration of month end process
- Investigate and resolve of Customer and Point-of-Sale (POS) queries
- Obtain Merchant detail for new stores in SA and the BLNS countries
- Reconciliation of Buy Aids
- Data Integrity of POS transactions
- Generate Weekly Cash Return reports
- Management of card chargebacks
- Liaise with service providers to ensure service delivery according to SLAs
- Adhoc projects

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

- Grade 12 (with Accounting)
- Tertiary financial qualification
- 5 years experience in a finance department
- Supervisory experience will be an advantage
- Computer proficiency (MS Excel)
- Bilingual (English and Afrikaans)
- Experience using financial systems
- Competencies required: Problem assessment; Planning, organising and control; Detail orientation; Confidence and decisiveness; Coaching; Stress tolerance; Communication and Building and maintaining relationships
