**Position Overview**:We are currently seeking an experienced and dedicated ECD Level 4 and 5 Accredited Moderator to join our team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in supporting the trainer to ensure that all Practitioners' Portfolios of Evidence (POEs) undergo thorough assessment. Your guidance will be instrumental in assisting the trainer to ensure practitioners achieve their ECD qualifications by providing assistance and training for their success.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Reviews and verifies assessment procedures and outcomes conducted by Assessor to ensure compliance with ETDPSETA standards and requirements.
- Assesses the quality, fairness, and consistency of assessments and related materials.
- Provides guidance and support to the facilitator and Assessor to enhance their assessment methodologies.
- Participates in standardisation meetings to ensure consistency across assessments and moderation procedures.
- Scrutinises assessment documentation and reports for accuracy and completeness.
- Safeguards the integrity of the assessment process and qualification outcomes.
- Report writing.

**Qualifications**:

- ETDPSETA accreditation as a Moderator for ECD Level 4 and 5 qualifications.
- Diploma or Degree in Early Childhood Development, Education, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience working in the ECD sector, focusing on training, assessment, and professional development.
- Strong understanding of ECD curriculum frameworks, assessment methodologies, and regulatory requirements.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and motivate practitioners from diverse backgrounds.
- Proven track record of delivering high-quality training and assessment services, emphasizing adult learning principles.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, committed to collaboration and continuous improvement.
