Storeman

Well established food manufacturing company situated in Durban, is seeking to employ a Storeman to participate in warehouse operations and activities.

**ONLY CANDIDATES FROM THE FOOD MANUFACTURING INDUSTRY WILL BE CONSIDERED SUCH AS RCL, UNILEVER, TIGER BRANDS ETC**

**Responsibilities**:
The goal is to increase efficiency, profitability and customer satisfaction, labelling stock, stock control, packing stores.
- Receive and check materials for correct type and quantity.
- Report and expedite shortages.
- Counter issues / unplanned issues.
- Update stock control sheets and report variances.
- Accurate control of paperwork.
- Maintain accurate levels of stock at all times.
- Perform any other job-related function as instructed by management.
- Perform all tasks to satisfactory quality and time standards.
- Ensuring stock is handled correctly
- Ensure Monthly stock takes are executed accurately.
- Ensuring correct documentation pertaining to stock control and customer returns are maintained.

**Requirements**:

- Matric
- 2-3 years’ experience as a storeman within an FMCG/Manufacturing environment.
- Be able to set priorities in line with the production schedule.
- Must be methodical and consistently accurate.
- Detailed stock count experience

**Job Type**: Permanent

**Salary**: R7,000.00 - R10,000.00 per month
