**Core Purpose of the job**:Plan and arrange funerals to enable a smooth funeral service as per the wishes of the bereaved

**Responsibility**:Responsible for all funeral administrative arrangements and organisation. Action new arrangements requests. Liaise with the bereaved to understand their wishes and to assist them with the payment of the funeral, the choosing of caskets, flowers, tombstones, etc.

**KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS**

1. Responsible for all funeral administrative arrangements and organisation

2. Customer Service: professional handling of client, accuracy of information given

3. Funeral Arranging: accurate data capturing, professional handling of client

4. Funeral Administration: accuracy of data input, effective consolidation of all data

5. Debtor management: follow up on funeral accounts; feedback given to relevant parties on state of debtors

6. Online procurement system: ordering supplies from preferred supplier only; consolidates all the necessary paperwork; send through to Accounts Payable timeously

**MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS**
- Grade 12 or NQF equivalent
- Proficiency in MS Office (Word & Excel)
- Knowledge of the funeral industry would be advantageous
- Valid driver’s licence (PDP) - 3-4 years old - preferred
- Good communication in English and another official South African language

**Salary**: Market Related

**Education**:

- High School (matric) (required)

- Funeral Industry: 1 year (preferred)
