**About the Role**

We are looking for an organised warehouse manager to supervise the receipt, dispatching, and storage of merchandise in our warehouse. The warehouse manager will oversee planning, ordering, picking, storage, receiving, dispatching, security, maintenance, sanitation, and administrative functions.

**Responsibilities**
- Overseeing receiving, warehousing, and distribution operations.
- Strategically manage the warehouse in compliance with the company’s policies and vision.
- Initiate, coordinate and enforce optimal operational policies and procedures.
- Implementing and overseeing security operations.
- Set up layout and ensure efficient space utilisation.
- Ensuring effective and safe use of warehouse equipment.
- Maintain standards of health and safety, hygiene and security.
- Ensuring the safety of staff.
- Motivating, and disciplining staff.
- Maintaining documentation and keeping accurate records of warehouse activities.
- Maintaining awareness and knowledge of the condition and location of fleet vehicles.
- Assisting with deliveries where required.
- Recruit, select, orient, coach and motivate employees.
- Receive feedback and monitor the quality of services provided.
- Plan work rotas, assign tasks appropriately and appraise results.
- Liaise with clients, suppliers and transport companies.
- **Minimum requirements**_
- 4+ years of warehouse management experience in the specific industry.
- Excellent understanding of warehouse management procedures.
- Proficient knowledge of inventory and inventory controls.
- Valid driver’s license.
- Proficient computer skills and knowledge of ERP systems.
- Outstanding communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Outstanding leadership, organisational, multitasking, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong people skills.
- Available to work extended hours if required.
- Able to pass Medical Examination.
- Fluent in English and Afrikaans.

- Code 10 (C1) license and ability to drive forklift -recommended but not required.
- Certificate/Diploma or Degree in logistics, supply chain management or business administration - recommended but not required.

**Salary**: R20,000.00 - R40,000.00 per month
