Junior IT Technician

Company in Pretoria East seeks, Junior IT Technician, to perform the following functions:

- Monitoring daily operations, including server hardware, software, and operating systems
- Running regular checks on network and data security
- Setup of Network Printing and Scanning on desktop computers and devices
- Installation, configuring and maintenance of security systems for the IT network, computer systems - Users, Anti-virus, Firewalls, etc.
- Support the Network infrastructure - Network management including cabling, setup of routers and switches, under more
- Management and administration of IT assets and contracts.
- Setting up and monitoring of file synchronisation and backups.

Qualification and Experience:

- Currently in the process of studying or have completed IT related diploma or
Degree.

Minimum of 1 Year job experience:

- Knowledge of MS Office Suite/Microsoft 365
- Knowledge Win10, Server 2012, IT Security, Antivirus.

- Experience in Visual Basic.Net development, in a desktop infrastructure
- SQL Script writing
- VBA Script writing
- MS-SQL queries and procedures
- Understanding of Database design

**Salary**: R13,000.00 - R17,500.00 per month

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Erasmuskloof, Pretoria, Gauteng: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)
