Senior Fundraiser

To proactively solicit financial support and coordinate fundraising functions for The Love Trust programmes by growing, strengthening and sustaining relationships with donor and other supporters who are aligned with The Love Trust cause.

**Raise financial and other kinds of donations for The Love Trust programmes**
- Target prospective donors by researching, identifying and segmenting the donor market to enable targeted campaigns such as annual campaigns, capital, major gift givers, planned / pledge giving, tax benefit, CSI, charitable trusts, etc
- Identify focus areas, net worth, history of charitable donations, or other data related to potential donors, potential investors, or general donor markets
- Identify and approach businesses, local authorities, trusts and individuals to secure funding - cash or in-kind donations or sponsorships
- Use digital platforms to raise donations
- Consistently seek out new and innovative ways to raise funds
- Evaluate fundraising activities for ongoing planning to focus efforts on the fundraising activities that are most appropriate and will have the highest chance of success
- Support organisational fundraising goals and targets by meeting or exceeding individual fundraising goals and targets

**Develop, implement and coordinate fundraising events and activities - such as special events, annual giving programmes, direct mail, on-line auctions, crowd source campaigns and others**
- Support the creation the fundraising message and any supporting materials
- Collaborate in speech writing, advertising or other promotional materials to increase awareness of the fundraising campaign, event or activity
- Collaborate in campaigns, meetings or events to secure donations
- Support the development and executions of campaign / event collaterals - digital and traditional material
- Secure speakers or contributors for fundraising events or Open Days to increase awareness and commitment to The Love Trust vision and programmes
- Work closely with corporate PR and communications team for joint planning, aligned messaging, and PR engagement, etc.

**Nurture relationships with donors to strengthen their commitment to The Love Trust**
- Grow and develop new donor funding opportunities
- Contribute and collaborate to the report writing process as required by the donor organisation
- Create, maintain and update donor database and ensure accurate records are kept on Salesforce and Dropbox
- Support the process to develop strategies to encourage new or increased contributions from existing donors

**Maintain records, databases and admin for reporting**
- Ensure all legal and ethical reporting requirements are met.
- Ensure donor information is captured on Salesforce and maintain accurate records in this regard.
- Manage budgets and other donor and financial records

**Qualifications and experience**
- Three-year tertiary qualification in Communications, Marketing, NGO development, Fundraising or similar equivalent
- Be knowledgeable about the legal and ethical fundraising framework, specifically in a children / school context
- Two to five years’ fundraising or sales experience compatible experience
- Creative sales and fundraising campaign knowledge and experience across all platforms including digital
