our client, situated in the heart of the helderberg is looking to appoint a dynamic and passionate assistant winemaker to join their team. this position will report directly to the winemaker and be responsible for assisting with all aspects of the winemaking process. your 3+ years’ experience will give you the confidence to work on your own in the absence of the winemaker whereby you will comfortably lead and guide the cellar team with their duties and responsibilities.
basic requirements:
- bsc agric viticulture and oenology, elsenburg qualification in cellar technology
- minimum 3 years winemaking experience.
- valid driver’s license
- passion, sense of humour and attention to detail
- international experience would be advantageous
