**Minimum requirements**
- NQF level N3 or equivalent technical qualification.
- Formal and accredited Fitter / Fitter & Turner trade qualification ( “Red seal’ trade test).
- 3 - 5 years post trade experience in manufacturing/production work environment.
- Good competency in Turning will be advantageous if not formally qualified in Turning.
- Sound applied technical competency in broad spectrum of machine/equipment maintenance within the Fitting/Fitting & Turning discipline.
- High level of technical acumen and insight.
- Good understanding of maintenance systems and work procedures.
- Excellent communication skills and fully bilingual in Afrikaans and English.
- Energetic, results driven, resilient, focus on quality, organized, strong practical and hands on.

**Salary**: R60.00 - R80.00 per hour

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Blackheath, Western Cape: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)

**Education**:

- Certificate (preferred)
