**Job Advert Summary**:
**Purpose of the position**:
To provide a comprehensive community health service which includes HIV testing and counselling services linked to screening and diagnosing clients for TB/STIs with the TB contacts track & tracing. The provision of treatment, clinical care and case management to HIV & TB clients and ensure successful same day ART initiation with retention and adherence in care. For TB contact/s screening for TB, identify asymptomatic & symptomatic clients with same day start of TPT and completion of treatment. To start TB treatment on diagnosed DS-TB results with adherence and completion of treatment. The screening of Covid-19 and refer appropriately on symptomatic clients.

**Minimum Requirements**:

- Bachelor's degree (B Cur Nursing) from four-year college or university
- Experience in HIV counselling and testing in public health services
- 2 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- SANC registered
- NIMAART trained
- Valid code 08 driver’s licence
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office package
- Ability to communicate in IsiXhosa and English or another South African language
- Clear criminal record

**Duties and Responsibilities**:

- Coordinate and conduct outreach programmes and HTS services in the community, workplace and farms
- Provide an enhanced appropriate package of treatment care and support of clients diagnosed with HIV, TB, STI’s, covid-19 case management and other health related conditions
- Provide technical assistance in HIV counselling and recording
- Collaborate with community role-players in engaging scaling up of TB/HIV service provision
- Maintain relations with C&T and other NGO’s/ stakeholders working to support the programme
- Appropriate referral of all the necessary health related conditions needing further management
