Scullery Cleaner

Our client in Steyn City is looking for Scullery Cleaner

MAIN PURPOSE OF THE ROLE
To ensure that all aspects of cleaning in the kitchen is completed including equipment, crockery and cutlery, offices, and laundry room.

*Must be presentable

*Must have sober habits

*All work permits must be valid

*Criminal checks will be done

*Must have own transport

*Willing to works shifts and overtime

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Identify and action cleaning opportunities, in addition to set tasks
Complete cleaning tasks within a specified time
Cleaning in scullery, kitchen, eating areas and front of office areas
Maintain Centenary Café hygiene standards as prescribed
Maintain and promote customer and client relationships
Using various cleaning tools and chemicals to carry out one's work
Ensure timely reporting on outstanding cleaning items i.e., detergents etc.
Ensure that the cleaning roster is completed and signed accordingly
Ensure that the time sheet is completed and signed accordingly
Ensure that all waste bins are washed on a regular basis
Collect, sort and separate waste into different categories
Store all cleaning equipment and products neatly in the designated cupboards on each floor.
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
Matric advantageous
1 -2-year experience in a similar role
Knowledge of how to operate cleaning equipment
Food service experience
Understanding of catering and food safety
Work experience in recycling would be beneficial
