**PURPOSE OF THE JOB**
To provide administrative and financial accounting functions to Ferrometals
- Requirements

**MINIMUM QUALIFICATION AND EXPERIENCE**
- Relevant Degree / National Diploma
- 3 years relevant experience, preferably 1 year supervisory experience
- Knowledge of SAP system and MS Office

**JOB RESPONSIBILITIES**

**Safety, Health, Environment and Quality**
- Identify and assess level of continuous risk exposures in area of responsibility by considering exposures to business, financial, legal issues, people equipment, material, environment, process, etc.
- Comply with SHEQ status.
- Utilise the Information Management System (IMS) to initiate, investigate and report SHEQ status.
**Customers**:

- Ensure customer satisfaction
- ** Accounting, controlling and reporting**:

- Assisting in managing accounting expenses
- Journalize assets, liabilities and expenses
- Register stock counts and calculate inventory balance
- Check cost allocations
- Manage intercompany accounts
- Reconcile, compile and verify general ledger
- Generate trial balance
- Generate monthly accruals
- Generate monthly invoices
- Prepare month-end financial statement, income statement, balance sheet, intercompany account, manning and cash management reports.
- Prepare for external auditors and tax documents
- Record financial and legal documents
- Prepare board meeting presentations
- Assist in monitoring financial transactions, accounts, operational expenditures, capital expenditures, manning numbers and capital.
- Process and reconcile raw material transactions.
**Planning and Analysis**:

- Assist in yearly budgets, quarterly year-end estimates and monthly projections.
- Assist in analyzing monthly financial statements, provide data on key financial indicators, deviation and ad-hoc analysis and monthly reports.
- Provide training on accounting system.

- Identify opportunities for accounting system improvement.
