At Adclick Africa, our creative studio is looking for visual storytelling that engages, informs and inspires us to be better. We are looking for graduates who are both creative thinkers and technical enthusiasts capable of taking complex concepts and bringing them to life across all digital media platforms.
They must be capable of providing concepts, well-structured designs and storyboards in collaboration with multiple departments and teams across the company.
They must also have an understanding of social media, digital media formats, branding, design styles and art genres, together with current digital marketing trends, to help inform their decision-making.
**Objectives of this role**:
Work on a wide range of projects and media, using the software mentioned above, to visualise and develop innovative graphic designs that meet performance marketing goals.
Obtain input from managers to ensure that designs meet organisational standards and brand expectations, express ideas accurately and represent the company or client appropriately.
Work independently or cooperatively with the marketing team to meet deadlines.
Update and maintain relevant internal branding for all associated clients or businesses.
Collaborate, brainstorm and strategise with multiple teams or clients on a wide range of materials that may include web pages, presentations, programmatic advertising, paid media, signage, internal communications, newsletters and outbound marketing materials.
Translate strategic direction into high-quality designs within an established brand identity or brief.
Develop concepts digital or hand drawn with software creative enhancement, and execute original content by determining the ideal usage of colour, text, font style, imagery and final layout in the approved format.
Assist with community management across social media channels
**Required**:
Bachelor’s degree or diploma in graphic design, art or a related discipline.
2-3 years of practical academic experience with Adobe Creative Cloud and other related software.
Must be proficient in a minimum of four Adobe apps (Adobe After Effects, Animate, Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop, Premier, XD, etc.).
Desire to continue learning and building their professional skillset.
Good communication and presentation skills.
Exceptional creativity and innovative design skills.
2-3 years of academic or practical experience with video and motion graphics design.
Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in graphic design, art, or a related discipline.
Knowledge of videography and experience with video production.
Knowledge of WordPress and content management systems.
