Weighbridge Operator

**Vacancies exist in the Heidelberg area as a Weighbridge Operator, reporting to the Site Manager.**

**Overall Purpose of the Job**:

- Weighbridge operating
- Ensuring that accurate data and information is recorded in the registers.
- Plan, organize, and participate in the operations and activities of the Weighbridge.
- The incumbent will be responsible for all aspects regarding weighing of the trucks entering and exiting the warehouse.

**Minimum Qualifications and Experience**:

- Grade 12 or equivalent
- At least three year’s Weighbridge Operator experience.
- Clear Criminal Record
- Grade A PSIRA
- Must reside close to Heidelberg

**Main Duties and Responsibilities**:

- Utilize space efficiently and effectively.
- Maintain inventory within prescribed limits.
- Communicate effectively both orally and in writing.
- Maintain accurate records of stock transactions.
- Organising staff and ensure stock is dispatched efficiently and timeously
- Maintain communication with other regions
- Assist operations where required
