This post is based in Maitland, Cape Town.
- Minimum RequirementsAn appropriate 3-year National Diploma/B-Degree (equivalent or higher qualification); A minimum of 3 years middle management level experience in fleet management; A valid code B (or higher) driving licence.

- RecommendationExperience in the following: Budget and financial management; Human Resource management; Supply chain management; Tender compilation; Client services; Mechanical/technical/engineering background.
- Key Performance AreasOversee the daily activities of the GMT R&M client care centre; Oversee the daily functions of the GMT Repairs and Maintenance Coordination (RMC) section; Oversee the daily functions of the GMT Quality Assurance (QA) section; Oversee the daily functions of the GMT Related Supplier Management section and the payment of R&M invoices; Policy and contract management, as well as management support services; Human capital management.
- CompetenciesKnowledge of the following: Public Finance Management Act (act 1 of 1999); National Treasury Regulations; Provincial Treasury Instructions; Handbook for Government Motor Transport (cir 2 of 2019). Skills needed: Communication (written and verbal); Planning and organising; Problem solving and decision making; Research; Presentation; Computer literacy (MS office package);.
- RemunerationAll-inclusive salary package of R 811 560 per annum (Salary Level 11)

Note on remuneration: Cost-to-employer (CTE) remuneration packages for the middle-management service (MMS) and contract positions are inclusive of all costs related to service benefits or obligations including basic salary, 13th cheque, medical assistance, housing assistance, pension-fund contributions, etc. MMS remuneration packages are flexible and may be individually structured as prescribed.
