Senior Laboratory Analyst

**Job Advert Summary**:
To maintain and optimise process parameters and to ensure adherence to best practice laboratory processes and quality products. Ensure samples are accurately analysed, timeous distribution of results and report any deviations.

**Minimum Requirements**:

- ND in Analytical Chemistry or ND in Civil Engineering.
- Valid driver’s license.
- 2 years process and laboratory experience
- Computer Literate

**Duties and Responsibilities**:

- Ensure routine and specialized tests are conducted, accurately reported, and timeous test results are communicated.
- Record results of analysis on appropriate information systems and communicate results where required.
- Assist in maintaining quality systems.
- Stewarded Laboratory equipment.
- Ensure maintenance and calibration schedules are followed on equipment.
- Planning and controlling the activities inside the laboratory.
- Assist in the training of the testers.
- Building value adding Invocoms.
- Root cause analysis and problem solving.
