**Role Purpose**

Develop and deliver data-driven solutions that add value to the business by providing actionable insights and facilitating decision-making. Utilise robust data warehousing skills, including coding and stored procedures, to transform and integrate data for effective business intelligence reporting and analysis. Leverage expertise in data warehousing to enable seamless integration with downstream systems and support business intelligence initiatives. Drive the transition to cloud computing architecture to enhance scalability, agility, and efficiency in data processing and analysis.

**Requirements**:

- 2 - 5yrs experience
- BCom / BSc (finance / maths related) with post graduate qualification in data science.
- Reporting line: reporting to the Head of BSM Investment Operations & Financial Reporting.

**Duties & Responsibilities**

Internal Processes:

- Analyse and interpret business requirements to identify data-driven solutions that provide valuable insights and support effective decision-making.
- Utilize data warehousing techniques, coding, and stored procedures to transform and integrate data for seamless business intelligence reporting and analysis.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand data structures across various databases and ensure data analysis and continuous monitoring activities are facilitated.
- Extract meaningful insights from data and processes to drive business improvement initiatives and enhance operational efficiency.
- Contribute to the development of customized solutions that align with stakeholder and business requirements through thorough analysis, requirements gathering, and design validation.
- Ensure the congruence of product and solution designs with specified business specifications and timely meetings of stakeholder requirements.
- Identify and analyse data collection sources that align with business needs and objectives.
- Process, cleanse, and integrate data from various sources to ensure data quality and reliability.
- Develop and maintain automated data collection and management processes to streamline operations.
- Utilize data science techniques and tools to improve existing processes and drive efficiency.
- Perform in-depth analysis of large datasets to identify trends, patterns, and actionable insights.
- Forecast future trends based on data analysis and provide comprehensive reports with strategic recommendations.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including business, engineering, and product teams, to understand their requirements and provide data-driven solutions.
- Identify opportunities for process automation and develop automated workflows to streamline data processing and analysis.
Conduct predictive analysis to support decision-making and help drive better business outcomes.
- Stay up to date with the latest advancements in data science methodologies and tools, incorporating them into the data analysis and processing workflow.
- Continuously evaluate and improve data collection, integration, and analysis processes to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and scalability.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business challenges and offer innovative solutions using data analysis and processing.
- Communicate findings and insights effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders, translating complex analyses into actionable recommendations.
- Work towards process automation to improve data collection, management, and analysis efficiency.
- Foster a culture of data-driven decision-making by promoting the use of data science techniques and tools across the organization.
- Collaborate with teams to identify and address data quality issues, implementing strategies to improve data accuracy and integrity.
- Continuously evaluate and optimize algorithms and models to improve predictive accuracy and performance.
- Actively participate in cross-functional projects and initiatives to support the organization's data-driven goals and objectives.
- Ensure compliance with data privacy and security regulations throughout the data analysis and processing lifecycle.
