Management of Quality Controllers.
- Assist in preparing for internal audits.
- Ensure that all supplier audits are done timeously.
- Preparation for all external audits, including client’s audits.
- Assist in ensuring effective Customer complaint investigation and response.
- Assist in implementing new requirements as identified by National QHSE Manager.
- Assist in ISO 9001 & 22000 certification process.
- Assist departments in any quality, food safety and hygiene related non-conformances.
- Management of pest control program.
- Regular attendance of chef table and analysis of results.
- Ensure that FIFO and FEFO practices are followed inside the facility
- Validate GMP compliance through surface, environment, and hand swabbing and food sampling as set out by internal procedures.
- Assure compliance to customer requirements for food sampling.
- Monitor and control of effectiveness of glass and foreign object policies and procedures.
- Must be leading the QHSE department as first aider and fire fighter.
- Assure compliance in segregation of Halaal, Kosher and Western food, staff, equipment, and processes.
- Preparation of staff roster (QC) and duties.
- Participate in the daily operations briefing.
- Be prepared for any shift allocated to you that falls within reason.
- Ensure that company assets are correctly used and wastage is kept to a minimum.
- Be always vigilant for breaches of security and respond swiftly and decisively where they occur.
- Staff Management - must be able to effectively lead the team directly under your supervision
- Monitor overall compliance to HACCP system, QMS, HSE and CSR requirements update all information
- Undertake planned, HACCP, H&S and Environmental inspections.
- Full internal and external audit preparation and planning in conjunction with department heads and QHSE Manager.
- Assist in arranging Management review meetings on Food Safety and Quality in accordance with ISO 9001 and ISO 22000 requirements.
- Must actively participate in maintaining the ISO 9001 and ISO 22000 processes.
- To ensure all HSE and rules & procedures are followed and hazards/near miss and accidents are properly reported.
- To raise any work-safety hazard when participating in HSE meetings or Risk Assessment.
- Any other reasonable task that may be required by management.

Authority Levels
- Take Disciplinary Action against any employee who is non-compliant with any

required procedure.

**Qualifications**:

- Grade 12.
- B Degree in Food Technology or otherwise related to industry.
- Fully competent in ISO 9001 & ISO 22000.
- Full Competent in Microsoft Office.

Experience
- 3 Years’ Experience.
