Johannesburg, South Africa Scorpion Legal Protection (RF) Pty Ltd Full time

The purpose of this role is to manage a team of network staff comprising of an administrative assistant who will assist with admin related queries and duties plus two legal staff members who are required to assist members (clients) with legal advice and paralegal solutions to common problems at express branch level, within the within the Company’s set parameters and Membership Agreement.

Key Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:
**General Branch Management**: Manage staff to ensure that service standards are upheld

**Staff Development & Discipline**: Performance management, assessment, motivation and discipline of staff

**Reporting and Quality Assurance**: Monthly and weekly reporting on activities, quality and budgeting

**Liaison with attorneys/ Claims Department**: Attend to obtaining advice and instructions on legal matters

**Liaison with Clients and Employees**: Dealing with and minimizing complaints / conflict between staff and clients

**Express Branch Attorneys Relationship Management: D**evelop and maintain good relations with EB Attorneys including hosting EB

Attorney conferences and meetings

**Express Branch Site Visits**: Travelling - according to the department travel plan to visit, personal

assessment EB activities and members satisfaction

**Express Branch Branding Audits**: Attend to management of EB branding audits and needs as per the EB

Branding manual

**MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS AND GENERAL WORKING CONDITIONS**

**Education**: Must have Matric (Grade 12); and equivalent

Must have Legal Degree.

Admitted Attorney and Management Qualification Advantageous

**Experience**: At least 4 year’s relevant working experience.

Must have leadership experience and skills

Proven Performance Track Record

Ability to provide guidance on resolution of complex disputes

**Other**: Must be computer literate; specifically, proficient in MS Word, Excel and Outlook

Must relocate at own cost

ITC/criminal check will be a requirement

**General working conditions**: Express branch office environment and no health and safety risks involved.
