Workshop Technician

A global company is seeking a Workshop Technician to act as a first point of contact when a breakdown occurs, conduct fault findings and repairs on vehicles. Based in Empangeni.

**Requirements**:

- Matric
- Mechanical engineering qualification will is an added advantage
- Previous experience in workshop
- Previous experience in relevant technician field
- Must have valid driver’s license
- Evaluate and problems solve, work with workshop equipment
- Time management ability
- Good communication skills

**Duties and Responsibilities**:

- Doing breakdowns
- Repairing of trucks
- Doing maintenance checks
- Ordering parts
- Taking trucks through roadworthy and safeloads
- Conduct quality check on the functionality of parts and components
- Perform assigned product manufacturing and assembly tasks
- Maintain all trucks and trailers.
- 24Hrs standby
- Assist on training other staff.
- Reliable for all work carried out
- Help to assist in all aspects in the workplace.
- Ordering parts.
- Work according to the company standards.
- Work weekend if needed.
