Position**:Bookkeeper**

Our client, in the **medical sector** based in **Hermanus**, is looking for a **Bookkeeper **to join their team as soon as possible.

This position is **fully remote**.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Reporting to **Financial Accounting team**:

- Maintaining accurate financial records, including recording all transactions, managing accounts payable and receivable, and reconciling bank statements.
- Producing monthly management reports, such as balance sheets and income statements, and providing analysis to client for decision-making.
- Assisting with budgeting and forecasting and tracking actual performance against budget.
- Ensuring compliance with relevant financial regulations and legislation.
- Preparing annual financial statements for clients.
- Preparing annual and provisional tax calculations for clients.
- Communicating effectively with clients, providing financial information, and answering any queries.
- Performing any ad hoc financial analysis or reporting as required.

**Qualification and Experience Requirements**:

- A diploma or degree in bookkeeping, or equivalent experience.
- At least 5 years of experience in bookkeeping or a related field.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
- Affinity for using technology and software that increases automation and efficiency of work.

The position **fully remote**

**Salary**: R 18 000-R22 000 depending on experience

**Starting date**: As soon as possible.
