Junior Geologist

A mineral resource management firm is seeking to employ a Junior Geologist on a permanent basis. The position requires a demonstrable history of previous geotechnical core logging experience and will form part of the company’s exploration department, to be based from Somerset West, Western Cape.
**Requirements**:
- BSc Geology Degree a must, but BSc (Hons) will be preferred
- Minimum 1 year, with demonstrable geotechnical core logging experience is a must
- SACNASP registration beneficial (Cand.Sci.Nat)
- Physically fit
- Valid RSA Driver's license
- Valid RSA Passport and must be willing to travel extensively, both in Africa and internationally
**Personal Skills Requirement**:
- Fluent in English and Afrikaans (French or other languages will be advantageous)
- Demonstrate good interpersonal skills and willing and able to engage and talk to clients.
- Must demonstrate good presentation skills
**Salary**: R20 to 30k/month, dependent on skills and experience.
