Cablekingz is currently seeking a skilled and experienced CCTV Installer/Network Technician to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for the installation, configuration, and maintenance of CCTV systems and network devices. This is an exciting opportunity to work with advanced security technology and make a real difference in the safety and security of our clients.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Installation of CCTV and IP camera systems in commercial and residential settings.
- Programming and configuration of CCTV systems and network access points.
- Conducting regular maintenance checks on installed systems.
- Troubleshooting and repairing faulty systems and network devices.
- Providing technical support and guidance to clients.
- Regularly updating job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities and reading technical publications.

**Qualifications**:

- Minimum of 3 years' experience in CCTV installation.
- Advanced knowledge of IP and network technology.
- Proficiency in programming and configuring network access points.
- Strong problem-solving skills.
- Able to work independently or as part of a team.
- Good communication and customer service skills.
- A valid driver’s license.
- Able to pass a background check.

**Preferred**:

- Certifications in networking, security, or related field

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Johannesburg, Gauteng: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)
