An established and reputable independent retail chain based in Johannesburg, South Africa. With a strong commitment to delivering quality healthcare services and products to our customers, we are excited to expand our presence to the Western Cape region. We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Responsible Pharmacist to manage and lead our existing pharmacy in Western Cape.

**Job Summary**:
**Key Responsibilities**:
1. Pharmacy Operations:

- Oversee the day-to-day operations of the pharmacy, ensuring efficient and compliant processes.
- Accurately dispense prescription medications, adhering to all regulatory requirements.
- Maintain optimal inventory levels and manage stock effectively.

2. Patient Care:

- Provide expert pharmaceutical advice and counseling to patients.
- Address patient inquiries and concerns with professionalism and empathy.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to optimize patient care.

**3. Team Leadership**:

- Lead and mentor pharmacy staff, ensuring a cohesive and skilled team.
- Schedule and manage staff shifts to ensure appropriate coverage.
- Promote a positive and collaborative work environment.

**4. Regulatory Compliance**:

- Act as the Responsible Pharmacist, ensuring full compliance with South African pharmacy regulations.
- Stay current with all legal requirements and industry best practices.
- Ensure all prescriptions are filled accurately and in accordance with the law.

**5. Customer Service**:

- Foster a customer-focused culture, delivering outstanding service to all patrons.
- Address and resolve customer inquiries and issues promptly.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with the local community.

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy from a recognized institution.
- Registration with the South African Pharmacy Council as a Responsible Pharmacist.
- Minimum of 2 years of retail pharmacy experience.
- Ability to work flexible retail hours, including evenings and weekends.
- Strong knowledge of pharmaceutical laws, regulations, and best practices.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
- Leadership abilities with a focus on team building and development.
- Dedication to providing superior patient care and customer service.
