**Opportunity Available Our leading client in the Automotive Sector is looking to employ a EHS Officer to join their dynamic team in East London.**

***
- **Evaluation and communication of legal and other EHS requirements and actively support their implementation**
***:

- **Develop and maintain an EHS Management System based on ISO 14001, ISO 45001**
***:

- **Lead the EHS risk evaluation and reduction process, including accident prevention programs**
***:

- **Lead the EHS continuous improvement process**
***:

- **Establish and implement EHS training programs, and perform training**
***:

- **Ensure proper reporting of EHS topics and KPI´s**
***:

- **Network within the EHS group/regional/divisional functions**
***:

- **Interact with the statutory bodies and authorities**
***

***

**Job Requirements**:
***
- **South African title as EHS Officer as per the Occupational Health and Safety Act., Emergency Controller, solid knowledge related to environmental aspects**
***:

- **Professional experience >3 years in a similar EHS role**
***:

- **Microsoft Office (proficiency in Excel); SAP beneficial**
***:

- **Excellent communication skills and passion for EHS; team player; training, auditing, and project management skills**
***:

- **Fluent in English and Xhosa beneficial.**
***
