The Payroll Specialist role for the Group (comprising Octotel & RSAWEB) presents an enticing opportunity. The incumbent will be responsible for performing a variety of payroll processing tasks to ensure timely and accurate payment of employee salaries. This role involves maintaining payroll records, calculating deductions, and responding to payroll-related quiries.

**Key Responsibilities**:
**1.Payroll Processing**:
- Prepare and process payroll for all employees on a monthly schedule.
- Salaries, overtime, and deductions accurately.
**2.Data Entry and Record Keeping**:
- Enter and update employee information in the payroll system, including new hires, terminations, changes in pay rates, and personal information.
- Maintain accurate and organized payroll records and documentation.
**3.Compliance and Reporting**:
Prepare and submit payroll reports and summaries as required by management.
**4.Deductions and Adjustments**:
- Calculate and process deductions for taxes, benefits and other withholdings.
- Process adjustments and corrections to payroll as needed.
**5.Employee Support**:
- Respond to employee inquiries regarding payroll issues, including earnings, deductions, and timekeeping.
- Provide employees with information and support related to payroll policies and procedures.
**6.Timekeeping**:
- Verify and reconcile employee timecards and attendance records.
- Address discrepancies and ensure accurate recording of hours worked.
**Requirements**:
**Education**:
A completed relevant HR or Finance related tertiary level qualification is preferred.
**Experience**:
Proven experience in payroll processing environment of at least 2 years.
**Skills**:
- Strong numerical and analytical skills.
- Proficiency in payroll software (e.g., ADP, Paychex) and Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Good organizational and time-management skills.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
**Knowledge**:
- Understanding of payroll practices, procedures, and regulations.
- Familiarity with wage and hour laws, tax regulations, and other relevant employment law.
