**LOCATION: South Africa - Heidelberg**

**REPORTS TO: HR Executive: Operations**

**WHAT YOU WILL BE ACCOUNTABLE FOR**
- Serving as a link between HRBP and the allocated functions and ensuring a high level of service exellence and support.
- Engaging with and advising Line Managers regardind HR Related practices, policies and procedures and enhancing the established business relationship.
- Coordinate and co-facilitate career development and succession planning process.
- Providing input to the Consolidated Talent SOP
- Support the HRBP in facilitating the Performance Management Process (Performance Planning, monitoring and reviewing) for allocated functions to enhance performance culture.
- Support HRBP in communicating, assisting and consulting with Line Manager regarding IR issues to ensure fair labor practices and positive morale.
- Co-ordinate and co-facilitate the management of an employee life cycle, ensuring compliance with BAT Policies and Procedures.
- Assist in development and implementation of strategies to embed HR common platforms and best practices that will ensure self-sufficiency in the local context.
- Participates fully as project member on identified HR Projects for the area.
- Org chart management and HC Tracking.
- Provide administrative support to HRBP on OD renewal processes eg restructuring.
- Provide adminitrative and coordination support to HRBP

**ESSENTIAL EXPERIENCE, SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE**
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field
- 1-2 years in HR Administrator or any relevant experience.
- Experience in working with HR Systems (Success Factors) will be advantageous.
- Fluent English Language ability.
- Sound Knowledge of Human Resources Practices and procedures.
- Business Knowledge and an understanding of the impact of HR on other business functions.
- Knowledge and experience of working with typical Operations Functions.
- Sound Knowledge of appropriate labor legislation, e.g BCEA, Labor Relations Act, Employment Equity Act
- Strong interpersonal skills and being a team player are essential.
- High level of attention to detail, thorough analytical skills, rational decision making, objectivity, planning and organizing.
