**Job description**

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Proofread copy according to required standards
- Research facts when necessary
- Make sure that all information to be published is accurate
- Correct spelling mistakes
- Ensure that copy content is within legal boundaries

**Requirements**:

- Multitask
- Take responsibility for own work, as well as the quality and standard of the entire newspaper
- Work according to strict deadlines
- Work as part of a team to ensure a good-quality product
- Pay meticulous attention to detail and maintain high standards of quality

**Experience and Qualifications**:

- Must be proficient in English
- Must be digitally savvy
- Tertiary qualification and/or relevant experience
- Preference will be given to individuals who will add to the diversity of the organisation.
