Durban, South Africa F & G Sourcing Specialist Full time

**F and G Sourcing Specialist** is assisting a **highly innovative Logistics client** that is seeking a **skilled Planner** to join their company that is based in **Durban.**

**Responsibilities**:

- Maximize receipt of work from customers suitable to the company model and capacity
- Proactively keep customer informed about planned work and work in progress - **customer facing role**:

- Quick turnaround of instructions from acceptance to invoicing

**(Proactive) communication / response**

**Forward planning**
- Maintain a clear overview of all work that has been taken on already
- Maintain a max of 40% import work compared to total
- Include who imports have been allocated to
- Overview can be shared easily with Fleet Controllers to make decisions on what can be taken on and who to allocate it to
- Keep customer informed on ability to take on work and actively chase for work to fill up capacity
- Confirming references, stock, turn ins
- TBA has to be corrected with proper empty depot before work is executed

**Ownership to get things done in time**
- Instructions are added or updated immediately when information becomes available
- Ensure instructions are closed within maximum 48 hours of completing shipment
- Sending to finance
- Follow-up on POD uploads with Fleet Controller
- POD verification is up to date before the end of your shift
- Follow-up on WOs from customer
- Raise your hand when you get stuck and follow up to get help until it is resolved

**Attention to detail**
- Instructions contain correct and clear information on what is required and what limitations are to execute (for example, operating hours, rates, required documents, etc)
- Ensure cost and selling are correct before verifying PODs
- Ensure instruction is correct before sending to finance

**Salary**:
R18 000 - R24 000 per Month (CTC) - dependent on experience

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Durban, KwaZulu-Natal: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)

**Education**:

- Diploma (required)
