Structural Draughtsman

Steel and Aluminium company based in Durban, is seeking a structural draughtsman.

**Roles and Responsibilities**:

- The individual is responsible for managing the preparation of detailed technical drawings using the applicable software.
- Produce accurate drawings for the workshop.
- Complete accurate bill of materials for all jobs Supervise, plan, control and co-ordinate functions of drawing office.
- Timeous release of job cards, programs and drawing packs.
- Ensure plans and drawings as well as job cards are of optimum quality and accuracy.
- Communication with customers and site visits are necessary.
- Data storage and management

**Desired Experience**:

- Very energetic person, who is prepared to draw and supervise.
- Must be technically inclined and able to use drawing software and programming (AUTOCAD and Tekla experience is essential).
- Extremely meticulous and efficient in drawing.
- Must be able to work under pressure and meet deadlines
- Experience in Steel and Aluminium ESSENTIAL

**Experience**:

- Steel and Aluminium: 3 years (required)
- Tekla and AutoCad: 3 years (required)

Ability to Commute:

- Durban, KwaZulu-Natal (required)
