Our client in the Boland is in need of a Senior Agricultural Economist. This position is ideal for someone who has a passion for the wine industry from a more academic stance point.
**Duties**:
Writing relevant articles and publications with regards to the wine industry
Travelling to all Wine Regions and addressing audiences with ease and passion
Strong written and verbal ability in English and Afrikaans
Need to be able to convey important and relevant information pertaining to the industry well
Empowering and training of people within the industry
**Requirements**:
A relevant degree in Agriculture/Economics
A minimum of five years' experience within a similar role in the Wine industry
Strong communicator
Excellent presentation, communication, analytical and interpersonal skills is required
Highly proficient in Excel, PowerPoint and Word
